These are critical times. Western liberalism is faltering in the face of the rise of ethno-nationalism and xenophobia. The threat of global war returns after eighty years of (relative) stability, while the survival of human civilisation is put into doubt by looming climate breakdown.
It’s difficult to find a way forward through this crisis, and even to think under such pressure. This website hopes to provide a space where thinking is possible, where threads and currents that shed light on what is happening are brought together, and where the possibility of solutions can emerge.
