Former IMF Executive Director Paulo Nogueira Batista details how the military horrors imposed on Venezuelans only cover up a complex economic duplicity. The video describes:

1. That the USA has been a failing economy since the late 1970s when it replaced the gold standard with international trade and value based on the American dollar.
2. That USA has a $13 trillion budget deficit.
3. That there is a significant challenge from an international coalition of countries: “BRIC”. (Brazil, Russia, India, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, who are establishing an independent currency and exchanges without the dollar. This group holds over 46% of the world’s population and 26% of its landmass).
4. That this outrageous violation will help the BRIC countries’ coalition to form more independence in fear of a USA invasion if they don’t kowtow to the failing USA economy.
5. That because the USA has a failing economy it uses its overwhelmingly largest military power (it has 37% of global expenditure) to dominate.
6. The invasion, and stealing of Venezuelan oil, attempt to remedy the USA’s failing situation.

My colleague points out that this video and others have been AI processed and may not represent its declared author. I argue that, while this is true, it should not change the important facts presented. Life and democracy are under threat.

There is little real fact available about the invasion. Our major newspapers and media are not giving information.  Some is available from foreign sources like Indian news. Strangely no filming or reporters were present anywhere at the time of the invasion. What can be pieced together comes from many videos like the one above and rigorous examination by trusted others.

Information sustaining the above links’ arguments have been made by respectable academics like Noam Chomsky, Yanis Varoufakis, Richard Wolff and Robert Reich over the last ten years.  These are documented online and in print.

As my colleague rightly suggests, AI dangerously sets up deception through a computerised reconstruction of a real. The quantity and commonness of this increases the dangers. Misinformation is divisive, confusing and upsetting.

These distortions are joined by numerous lies in politics & historical interpretation which sustain the power elite. Value judgements, the domination of most information by the powerful, philosophy of what is a “fact”, simulacrum disintegrating the real, and the many other distortions of what really can be established as a simple truth are part of a long list of things we must decipher.

AI deception is on the rise. It is simply accessed by many, very difficult to detect. We must continue to be vigilant using authors we trust and the world history we can make sense of, to help us establish what is really going on and why these distortions are put there.

What is most important here is Trump’s invasion and violation of Venezuela, and his plans for other military takeovers of sovereign nations.

This is the beginning of the destruction of protective democracy and the demolition of humanity.
